PASTEL DE CHOCLO (corn pie)

Chilean pastel de choclo is a traditional baked dish made with a creamy corn mixture (fresh ground corn, milk, and butter) layered over a savoury filling of seasoned ground beef, chicken, onions, olives and hard-boiled eggs and  is known for its balance of sweet and savoury flavours, making it a classic comfort food in Chile.
